Please visit our public site if you are not joining the Guild. More information and resources can be found there for non-members.
The Guild is a Utah-based, grassroots organization of licensed mental-health professionals and students-in-training. Members meet monthly for consultation and education regarding mental-health concerns of sexual and gender minorities. We welcome members of any sexual orientation. We offer support and resources for Utah Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Same-Sex attracted individuals and their allies. The Guild provides networking opportunities, CEU credit classes, outreach, shares valuable resources among members, maintains a calendar of events, and provides an online directory of LGBTQ Affirmative therapists for the general public to find help for their unique issues. Our members have the opportunity to be included in an online directory of LGBTQ Affirmative Therapists, available to anyone in the general public looking for a therapist. This valuable resource allows clients to feel comfortable in finding a therapist who specializes in their unique needs.
Membership to the Guild is open to licensed mental health professionals and students in clinical training. Members are included on an email list to receive updated information about LGBTQ-affirming events, workshops, and resources and access to free continuing education workshops. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Robin Tracy, at robin@lgbtqtherapists.com or 801-244-2386. Our expenses during the past year included signage and materials for Winterfest and Pride Festival, business cards, permits for Pride Festival parade and booth, and design and operating expenses for the website.
