Helping Gender and Sexually Diverse Individuals Respond Effectively to Rejection - NOTE: 1st Thurs

Rejection, whether it is romantic, familial, or work related, can hurt emotionally and physically. Gender and sexually diverse (GSD) individuals can experience added layers of distress due to the variety of ways they are rejected by society. This interactive workshop is designed to help providers learn a variety of ways to respond to rejection, discrimination, and stigma so that they can help GSD individuals positively adapt to loss and social oppression.

Presenter:  Lee Beckstead, PhD
