The Impact of Sexual Trauma on Sexual/Gender Identity & Expression
This session will provide an opportunity to hear the voices of several male survivors of sexual trauma who identify as gay/bisexual/transgender. The focus will be to explore the variety of ways that sexual trauma may impact sexual/gender identity and expression.
NOTE: This in-service will not be videotaped to respect the confidentiality of survivor participants in this session.
Presenters: Jim Struve, LCSW – Private Practice and co-author of forthcoming publication on this topic; several survivors (TBA) who will share their experiences.
Meetings are conducted at the offices of MindBody Wisdom (77 South 700 East - #200) unless otherwise specified in the schedule – NOTE: please park in the upper (outside) parking lot. This location is accessible for anyone with limitations of physical mobility.
CEU’s have been approved for all in-service programs by Utah NASW and NBCC (courtesy of the Utah Mental Health Counselor's Association); CEU’s are free for Guild members & $5 for non-members
