Understanding Porn Addiction: A Sex Positive Approach to Problematic Sexual Behavior

In April of 2015, Utah became the first state to declare pornography a public health crisis.  Individuals, couples and families are in distress and sex addiction treatment centers are answering the call. LGBTQ clients are particularly vulnerable around issues of pornography or sexuality that does not align with mainstream norms and need competent sex positive therapists more than ever.  We will discuss the challenges of approaching pornography from a sex addiction model, how we can use the presenting issue of porn as a way to help our clients gain more insight into themselves and their sexuality and treatment options and approaches.

Parking is permitted anywhere in the parking lot. Enter the building through the main entrance, which is by the flag pole in the circular driveway. From there, there will be a receptionist or signage to point you in the right direction.  This location is accessible for anyone with limitations of physical mobility.
