Dr. Collin Kuhn (they/them) is a seasoned therapist with over a decade of private practice experience and the founder of One Haven, PLLC. They previously served as Clinical Director at Cornerstone Counseling Center's Mothers and Children's Program. As a board member of the LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapists Guild of Utah, Dr. Kuhn is deeply committed to supporting the community.
Specializing in transgender and gender-expansive youth, Dr. Kuhn is a recognized presenter at conferences addressing these topics. They are a full member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and employ evidence-based practices guided by the WPATH Standards of Care 8 and the Endocrine Society Guidelines.
Dr. Collin Kuhn specializes in supporting transgender and gender-expansive parents and their children, aiding them in living authentically. They offer services for young adults up to age 28 within the gender-expansive, sexually diverse, or developmentally delayed communities.
Dr. Kuhn is certified in Transgender Treatment by the state of Utah and provides Letters of Support for minors seeking gender-affirming care, including blockers and hormones, according to SB16. They also write letters for surgical procedures such as chest reconstruction, breast augmentation, and genital reconstruction, and assist with FAA paperwork and documentation for name and gender marker changes.
Dr. Collin Kuhn, a child and adolescent psychologist and former registered play therapist, values the way children express themselves through play. Based on the child's or teen's needs, Dr. Kuhn combines structured cognitive behavioral play therapy with process-oriented approaches to provide psychoeducational support. In family sessions, Dr. Kuhn uses Theraplay techniques to strengthen parent-child attachment.
