Emerging Trends in the Languages of Sexual/Gender Identities The wave of research on sexual fluidity plus the greater acceptance for open discussion about sexual identity/orientation have created challenges to communicating with clients and understanding the changing paradigms of clients. This presentation will focus on issues of "languaging" when dealing with sexual identity/orientation. Included will be attention to the impact of the current trends for challenging binary categorizations of sexual and gender identities.
